Hi I have a fiat bravo on a 2008 plate. The other day whilst sat at some lights the airbag system fail light came on after cursing and hoping a quick restart would fix this but it didn't. Any how thinking this light would stay on I was wrong every 8 to 15 seconds the light will go out for a few seconds and then come back on again with a beep. Checked my fuses etc but really stuck and really don't want to pay through the nose for a diagnostic if I can help it. Can anyone out there help me? Thanks in advance

Cheers guys just hope it doesn't cost a bomb as all sorts has gone on it recently just done the front pads had springs exhaust on god knows what else all at once guess when it rains it pours

Hi all been a while just to let you know the outcome...

I ended up going to FIAT who had a look at the error codes... They couldn't see the airbag control module at all it was offline.. after checking the whole wiring from modules out it turned out the whole module had gone caput! luckily for me it was covered under warranty it had literally a month left on it!!!

This is now replaced and all is well touch wood....
