HI

come back to my car this evening (Bravo 1.9 D) and it was dead when i tried to turn it over, so got the jump leads out and give it a bit of a charge, so now its attempting to start but not firing up.

the clock/date reset and also noticed that the fuel light is constantly flashing.

i also noticed the glow plug light isn't coming on.

only had the damn thing a month, any suggestions before i call the RAC ?

Sounds like the Fuel Pump too me...

Jump starting might not work due to insufficient power of the car battery on another car. It has to be really strong. I had that issue.Charging does not work since one or more of the cells in old battery are dead.

Go get a new car battery with the same specifications or stronger.As long as it fits by dimensions and positive side orientation. Diesel mjet needs a good battery. Report back.

Any updates?

no joy, got a new battery as it needed it anyway, but same. turning over but not firing. thinking it might need reprograming or something.

also central locking not working, radio not turning on. thinking it might need to go to fiat. :-(

FIXED - turned out the mega/Midi fuses the 70 amp one had been blown, possibly when trying to do the jump start.
