General Smashed :(

Silver lining to the cloud (as it were) is that I did have 2 niggly issues with the Bravo. 1. the rear bumper was a shade fractionally different in colour to the rest of the car but you had to seriously look hard to notice (but being a perfectionist I did notice), and 2. I had a minor rattle in the bootlid somewhere that I couldn't isolate. So as it happens, I won't have either issue when I get the car back lol :D

So... interestingly the shade difference is still there so I think its actually down to the angle of the bumper because the colour is the same as the boot and the boot matches the rest of the car. Think its a light thing, where depending on the reflection, etc it makes the colour look different.

And... the rattle is still there, so I can only assume its not in the boot lid afterall. Slight nuisance as I've got to track it down now!

So you could argue I have got my car back in pre-accident condition :D

I do also appear to have a new issue tho... Well, not a bad issue as such but as the lacquer is so new and shiney, it shows the rest of the car up. That's not to say the car isn't in good shape, but when you compare fresh lacquer and 5 year old lacquer that's travelled 40,000 miles, there is a shine difference :) Fortunately my DA polisher with SSR2, SSR1 and some Natty's Paste Wax (and then sealant) has done a fine job. Just got to keep the car shiney and all will be good!

Good to hear dude! Nothing worse than an annoying rattle though!

On a slightly damper note, I reversed mine into a parked car yesterday :( how embarrassing. Only a little scuff on the bumper, and a minor dent on the boot. The other car however, eeek!
