Hey Guys

Ive been recently searching for some cleaning products for my Fiat Bravo and I came across a product which is called "Greased Lightning Showroom Shine"

http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Greased-Lightning-Showroom-Shine-2-x-1Ltr-Waterless-Car-Wax-Polish-/120991460013?pt=UK_Car_Accessories_Car_Care_Cleaning&hash=item1c2ba72aad

Purchased over 4000+ times on eBay. And with amazing views
Im thinking of giving this cleaning product ago.

Just some of the work this product can do:

Overall from what I can see this product seems pretty good, Im planning on buying it maybe next week will get back too you. If you guys have used it please give us your feedback.

Wouldn't even bother with it.

I use this: http://m.ebay.co.uk/itm/151394464033?nav=SEARCH

You wont be able to find a better product for the price. Its performance is similar to a £500 wax. Each cost lasts months, gives insane protection and gloss and one tub will last for years. Search for reviews by professional detailers.

Nice and cheap (y)

Back on topic of the 'greased lightning..

Its OK for those who haven't got access to hospipe etc..

Two bucket 'wash method is best.. approach..

But 'strangely..it don't 'scratch even when using on really manky cars...

Too expensive for what it is tho..

Its been out an age now...since the start of the 'bid TV programmes'.

Just use Meguiars Wash, wax and Quick detailer. Best products for there price and same or even better results.

Autoglym everytime for me

conditioner/wax long lasting cleanliness

》Super resin polish*oomph*dried with Maguires drying towel Beast

》Wheel cleaner *sparkling wheels are a must sets the car off*
*With Maguires wheel brush a MUST best £9.99 I spent on a wheel brush reaches right the way through no problem*

》Wheel sealer *stops brake dust- have tried loads including Maguires*
Microfiber cloth (DRY) to wipe off

》Tyre dressing*wet look tyres for 2 weeks rain or shine*wiped round with 2"inch brush = no over spray

ALL above personal preference, I find Maguires has good tools but not the best products,

I use a mixture of megs and autoglym as well have both auto glym bodywork conditioner or meguiars gold class which just smells awesome, super resin polish, and the megs drying cloth.

These were pre-polish tbf although it pops a lot more when you see it in the metal, given how grey and horrible the sky and background is on the shots.

Never been one for tyre seal, maybe once every 6 months to keep them black but for whatever reason hate slick black, scrubbed it off 2 days after I picked her up! Have the Autoglym wheel cleaner but not had to use it yet as I'm averaging 2 washes a week since I picked this car up so a quick wipe will do atm.

I mix and match my products. I have Autobrite, Mainz, Valet pro, Megs, Chemical Guys, Orchard Car Care, Juicy Details, Scholl, Mer, Gtechniq and probably more. I find Auto glym alright but can be pricey for what it is and to get the best finish there stuff just isn't quite good enough and I'm talking full machine polishing.

You can't go far wrong with AG Super resin polish.

A really nice quick combo is this;

Autoglym Super Resin Polish
Autoglym Extra Gloss protection - sit's on top of the SRP, gives 3 months protection
Autoglym Aquawax - my favourite product, spray on wet car and wipe dry, saves LOADS of time, also designed to work with HD Wax or EGP as a "top up" and helps it last longer!

If you get these in a "Halfords 3 for 2" deal you are laughing, bargain ;)

The secret is spending decent amounts of time in order to get results. Don't expect wonder products to work because they just won't. A thorough wash and wet wax can take me over 2 hours every time. A proper detail session can take a whole day.

You need to hit up this website; http://www.cleanyourcar.co.uk/index.php and ask yourself whether a wonder product like this actually works when you consider the sheer amount of brands and varieties you can get in detailing.

Hope this helps matey
