I have spoken to a few of you about the exhaust on my 13 plate Bravo before.but it is bugging me.
I have looked under it this morning and there is a black rubber bracket which is in tact and not perished, and the strap which goes round it feels tight too,
To me it just should look tighter to the bumper.I am not a mechanic by any means but the back box is visible from 5 miles down the road lol.it just seems a shame and let's the view from the back of the
Bravo down.

Has any body else had this rectified or has the same situation?

Thanks in advance

To me the angle of the silencer seems a bit more tilted that's why it's more visible.
But even if you could rearranged the silencer then the tailpipe would gen in the way (you might be able to pull it down so yow can push the silencer higher under the bumper).

Personally i think it's not worth the hassle.

Which engine? Something looks wrong there. That silver piece going across the gap at the top looks like it shouldn't be there. Maybe it's dropped down? If you can't find any other solution, you could always paint the end of the back box black with high temp paint...

Okay I went down to longlife earlier to ask some info on this, and they said that Fiat have done what other car manufacturers have done to get a twin exhaust look.
where the backbox is its self they have taken another pipe up over and along it to join at the back of the car giving the twin look.
they also pointed out that this would effect the performance as the gasses are in the exhaust box trying to get out going straight through the pipe and out the back as per normal, and then trying to get pushed up into the second piggyback pipe which will cause loss of performance as they won't just flow through dispersing the gasses with ease, also that the exhaust should be further out only a few mm,and that it's should be much higher up and that it's not center to the gap which you can see in the pic above, obviously these guys deal in this everyday and have the eye for it where as maybe you and I would be happy with it, overall they said its a real shame on a nice car.

Ps if I have had typos sorry lol.

If its the bit inside the bumper in the 1St pic that's the bodywork :what:

Yeah similar to that,I asked longlife for a price on a backbox with pipes put so it's straight through to box and got quoted £200 including VAT and fitting, including choice of any end tail section twin single, they showed me a twin tip looked awsome

It's odd as since changing my rear hanger, I'm really happy with how the exhaust sits. Nicely tucked up and sitting equal distant in the cut out.

Perhaps your box needs loosening at the first connector and turning slightly?

Looks like it's too rotated clockwise as the right outlet is sitting lower than the left one.

Just a thought :)

+1

I'm about to replace all three exhaust mounting points due to excessive left/right movement at the rear. I'll report back whether this also raises the tips.
