Hello all, new to the forum, new to buying cars really. Don't know the slightest in regards to technicalities and what to look out for when buying so I thought I could sign up and ask you guys on here.
I am a student and a first time buyer. Basically looked around and found that it was the best looking car for my price range. Also I think this thread would be useful to future fiat buyers or just buyers. Or is there already an existing thread? (if there is sorry)

So are there any common faults to look out for when buying this particular car? Any questions I should ask or anything to look out for in particular?

Like any car, a lot depends on its age, how its been looked after and the miles.

I've had a low mileage 1.9 Dynamic 150 for a year now and its coming up for 50k. Its given me a lot of pleasure and no trouble at all.

I would definitely it agree it is a great looking car.

Thanks for the reply Fergie. Do you mind me asking you how much you picked it up for? And is it a diesel?

All 1.9s are diesels...

I paid 5k last year, but that was basically for a very low <30k one owner car from a dealer. Belts all done and emaculate inside and out (apart from a ripped gaiter) which was buttons to replace from ebay.

Prices seem to have dropped a bit, but 3k these days should get you a decent car.

Oh, and do check the belts have been done otherwise looking at a bill for a few hundred.

Thanks guys! Appreciate it. Sorry can you elaborate Fergie. Which belts in particular? Cambelt? I seriously don't know. I can ask people but this is obviously the best place.
