Anyone know if the exhaust hanger on the tjet 150 is the as the other models?

One thing I've noticed with 4-5 year old sport models is the exhaust starts to get droopy at the chrome tips. This is presumably where the original rubber hanger has perished?

Mine seems to going the same way so I'm thinking I'll get a new hanger and by the looks of it it's not just a simple bit of rubber (of course it isn't) - looks like a rubber mount on a metal piece that is bolted to the underside of the car. I'm just wondering is this the same apart regardless of model or does it vary?

Not much to go on looking ECP site. Oh well, I've just taken a gamble and ordered one designed for the MJet :D

I expect leverage to be an issue working from the floor. Still, I'll jack it up as much as a I can and go from there (assuming it fits!).

So, I had the part arrive during the week and thought I'd fit it today. Removal was easy - just cut the rubber and unbolt.

Fitting, well.... little bit more challenging but with some grease and levers, it went on without too much issue :) Quite pleased especially as its for a MJet rather than a Tjet - I'm guessing they are the same regardless of model.

You can see from one of the pictures that the old hanger was cracked (sagged under load - even with the fabric loop that was around it). The new one is obviously nice and tight so very minor movements to be had.

Certainly looks better now (not that it was low before, but just needed pulling up a bit).

That looks a little low to me. Just poke your head underneath the bracket is pretty much above the chrome tips. There's another one at the front end of the silencer nearer to the wheel.

Just check the condition of them for any sagging.
