Yes I soldered directly from the light on the roof and ran the cable rough the roof lining and then the side of the windscreen wwhere the plastics are than down to the footwell I got a connection block and run LEDs from there to both sides

Just bought myself a really long LED strip yesterday so I could do this, and I wanna do it like most of the people here, have it turn on when doors open. Has anyone found a way to do it without running the cables from the roof lining?
I looked on eLearn and it became really confusing because there was 3 cables, 2 positive and 1 earth, and that wouldn't help me at all. If anyone knows where to find the wiring for it under the steering wheel side and what colours the wiring are, I'd really appreciate it. Otherwise I'll have to go on an adventure of taking my car apart

I pulled out the cigarette lighter and connected straight to that as when i turn the ignition on they come on
