Ouch, insurance won't take long to pay out then, claim will be against you unfortunately. No doubt BMW will have whip lash and a nice payout.

Yeh I know :( fortunately it was a low speed impact, with my damage being so bad due to the BMW having a tow bar fitted, and very little damage done to the BMW. I'm sure they'll be claiming for whiplash though.

I can't wait to get her back and I'm disappointed to be missing MITCAR but I'm hoping to make the YorkshireITALIA meet at the end of the month.

Once I get my car back I'm going to refit my LED sidelights, get my LED number plate lights sorted and get my HID kit fitted too. Then I'll get some pictures up of my mods.

I don't suppose anyone knows where I can buy the glovebox light casing from? I damaged mine changing the bulb and now it just hangs down. A temporary fix of clear sticky tape to hold it up will do for now but I'd rather get it fixed properly.

Just checked on the garage's online system to see the status of my car and according to that it's ready. I'm going to give them a call first thing in the morning and see what they say

So finally got my car back from the garage and I'm hoping to get the HID kit in this weekend. I've had a new front end and they've replaced my grille with a chrome one. The old one was black so I'm going to take it out and paint it black again at some point.
swift have you had any issues with that aerial that you recommended to me? The rubber has come off move and had left just the bare metal. It's not a problem as far as I can tell though

No mine is fine dude I took it off the rubber bit lol, still working good

So I decided to go back to my original aerial for now. Will look in to other options soon.

Another question I have, what brakes are recommended? I don't want to be paying the earth but I also don't want crap brakes. Can anyone suggest some decent brakes that are a reasonable price?

Finally got my HID kit installed. The driver side was easy but the passenger side was a nightmare. Took ages to be able to get the wire clip to hold the bulb in place.

Looks good in the light. Can't wait to see what they're like in the darkness
