Gentlemen,
Just installed a RaceChip Pro2 on my T-jet 120hp. It hard to say if there is any difference (maybe in torque). Anyone here has the same installed by any chance? if so, which configuration are you using?

Best,
David

Hey dude I had a tuning box installed into my bravo last weekend was 105bhp and is now a 136bhp.it was fitted and straight away I felt the full force of it,cost of £290 worth every penny.

Is this tuning box a racechip box?

I have my Novitec Powerjet II tuning box for sale which is for 1.4T-jet turbo (non-multiair) increases the bhp from 150 to 171.

How much you looking for?
Did you notice a change in mpg?

I don't know. I don't think there is any difference although I admit its hard to say with a dyno test.
Regarding mpg - I don't have enough mileage to say. I'll update in a week or so.

T-jet 120's are severely weakened by the turbo it uses. A top end remap will only get you 145 if you're lucky, which when you consider that the bravo has between 120 and 128 BHP from factory that's not a major gain. You can do what RobBravo has/is doing. He's replaced his Turbo with the much better one from the Abarth 500 I believe and will be remapping it soon, he will be able to get high 170BHP Out of it I believe,

Hi there,

Many 120T's have rolling roaded at 130bhp+ and then as Matt said, you can barely get 145 from a remap.

A tuning box/ race chip might get 140... so in theory you might have got as little as 8-10 bhp..

Would you feel that difference? Probably not in everyday driving.

I have fitted the VL38 from an Alfa Mito 155, coupled with a larger cat back exhaust I'm hoping for between 170-180 bhp.

In theory, if the car sits at 130 bhp then a 40-50 bhp increase from a turbo, exhaust and remap is a huge boost in power ;)

Hi Rob, will the Bravo 150hp Sport 's injectors handle the upgraded turbo and fuel requirements??

Im also thinking of hoing RaceChip Pro but not sure how good the pre-set tuning will be compared to mapping software...

I have decat and KnN intake do far

VL37 if I'm correct

Bravo 150 uses the VL36 and the Abarth 500 uses the VL38 if I'm correct. They have weird numbering systems :D

I got Bravo 150 and it has the VL36. Numbering is weird. Do u know what power the Abarth 500 makes?

But that's a 695 Tributo Ferrari... bound to have far more power.

According to the UK specs. Abarth 500 comes with 135 bhp :)

But I thought the VL38 is a better turbo than the VL36? So in theory the Abarth 500 should pump out more than the Bravo? Or did they just limit it to 135bhp cause of safety issues since it's such a small car? :D

I guess they didn't want the 500 to be more powerful than the Abarth Grande Punto?

Two cars with equal power output might just cancel each other out :p
