Tuning Mapping

Bit of filth for Ross :D

Just gave Bianco a good clean had most of the fly population from Leicester on the front bumper,I have taken some snaps of the tuning box for my fellow bravo and Fiat owners to check out,how such a small thing can make a hoooge difference,

Looking good man (y) those boxes are really the definition of "dynamite comes in small packages" :D I can imagine the torque will just be insaaaaaane now. I would actually be interested to see what power gains you got if you ever go and strap it on a dyno for a run (y)

My pervious bravo was a 1.9 120bhp Bianco is .1.6 105bhp but is now running at 135/6bhp and you can feel it right through the gears.
In the end of the box you can adjust it with 7 options and a piggy back system. one end power and other economy it's just over half way the guy said if you drive okay not like I stolen it that's a normal setting, they go up in 2% variances.
Also that should I take it out no matter how long it's disconnected it will plug straight back in and away you go,

:cool::cool::beer::cool::cool:

Ah okay that's pretty decent. Don't they sell the 120bhp 1.6s in the UK? But nevertheless you have a lot more horses being produced in your engine now (y)

That's pretty boss man. Not all chips come with controllers for the different maps and you usually have to buy a controller separate. But that's rather neat man, cause now you can control what you want when. So for a long drive on the motorway you could put it on economic mode (assuming it will be first option :D) and maybe get some insanely large MPG readings. And if you ever go to a track day you can go to full power and have some really good fun :D

I've been quoted £140 Got for a remap og my 1.9 Miltijet: "150-180 bhp and 225-258 lb.ft of torque.

This sound OK? Is this likely to change the CO 2 emmisions much?

I don't know much about the 1.9 Multijet engine and how much it can gain, but that does sound quite good. Just search 1.9 Multijet Remap and you'll see what other guys got as power gains.

When it comes to CO2 Emissions I don't think it will be much different because the catalytic converter will block out just the same amount as before throughout the rev range.

I've got a variable tuning box on my 1.9.(150bhp) It RR'd as expected without it and made a fraction short of 200bhp with it on.

Since then I have taken out both cats and restricted the EGR, so I would expect it to be over 200bhp now. It certainly transformed the drivability of the car and another bonus is fuel economy is aprox 20% better with it turned on! I've not played around with the 'economy' setting yet, but keep meaning to wire up a circuit to switch it remotely between 'economy' and 'power'.

One thing to bear in mind is that the more power, the more strain it puts on the clutch...

Had my 19 mjet 150 mapped to 185 bhp and 385 tourque, that's 35 bhp extra and 80 nm tourque extra, only a "middle map", could have had 207 bhp and 423 n tourque, but with the amazing gearbox I thort taka it easy. deffo pulls harder when turbo geometry changes at 3000 rpm. pulls well from 2300 and no real differance lower down, mpg over 1500 miles (in 2 weeks) is roughly same, might be little lower, could be higher, but due to changes of road I drive a day it changes.

just thort I would throw that in the convo :). happy mapping ;)

I've had my 2.0 M-Jet re mapped to about 180Bhp and 400nm:D, these engines can go much higher but I didn't want to risk the gearbox and flywheel. It now pulls so hard and from 1300-1400 RPM against the 1800-2000 RPM before.

I got mine remapped to 209 ;) or so it says haha my god does it fly, smoother driving and the mpg is at 65 when i drive home
