Hi,
I have a 2014 Bravo Tjet 150hp (brazilian).
It came with the Instant Nav (Called RadioNav here)
This is indeed a very bad radio, low resolution screen and VERY low audio quality, specially from the USB port. The thing is, some options of the board computer can only be change inside this thing, such as time and hour adjust and enable Trip B e etc.
Yesterday I remove it and installed a 2 Din Pioneer. I got a flashing mileage (expected).
The question is: If I do a Proxi Alignment (via multscan), the flashing mileage will stop, right?
I will also recover the ability to change the options of the trip computer on the board computer, as the Instant Nav no loger exists to the system?
Another questions: what are the real risks of the Proxi Alignment to a situation as this? My car is brazilian and not european and I fear that the multscan can't do a proper proxy alignment and I end with a "dead car".
When I sell the car a few years from now, I will plug the Instant Nav back and do a Proxi Alignment. Then, the system will work as factory default, right?
I'm sorry for the loads of questions!! I have real fear of this proxy alignment procedure.
Thanks in advance!!
