I loved that Grande Punto, it was my first and STILL is my favourite car. It was the bog standard active model with a little 1.2 engine, it was as powerful as a hamster in a wheel and didn't even have air con. I spent so much money on it, tints, alloys, grills, badges. I even fitted aux kit to the original radio, new seats etc. Then some tosser drove into the side of it when my missus was driving, she was also pregnant. That little car protected her so well. I was very proud of it. We were looking for a new car anyway as I was about to become a dad to my daughter. Plus the car was now tainted. It felt funny to me knowing it had been smashed by some foreigner in a dirty old French car. Sold it 4 weeks later and is now being drove by a little old lady with tints alloys and badge-less grills lmao. I see it every now and then. It's still a beauty, what you think?I'm very pleased to see you swapped from the punto to the Bravo What was your reason behind that? I found it very difficult to choose between the two!
Anyway my next car was to be a Bravo. It made sense, I loved my fiat Punto and it's just a bigger Punto right? except I couldn't find a good one and insurance didn't like us for some reason, so I had a Renault Megane. I needed a bigger car, more doors and a boot for my daughter. The Megane offered that cheaply, with lots of toys, a nice big 1.6 VVT engine and low mileage. I absolutely HATED it. It was horrible to drive. Made incredibly cheaply. It handled like jelly in an earthquake and made squeaks and rattles and all sorts of noises whilst driving. This was it
It was gone within 6 months, I couldn't hack it. I knew I wanted a bravo, I couldn't rest until I had a bravo and then I found my baby, the top spec dynamic model. All the toys, comfy, gorgeous colour. Relatively low mileage and great price for my area. I bought it within a week, paid cash. I don't do finance. I still love it we were made to be.
