A software update on most cars will enable it, seems to be hit and miss with what Fiat decide to do.

Personally don't feel the need for them on my Bravo with its OEM HIDs, but we're effective the other evening in Andy Monty's EVO with standard headlights when coming back from a meal out.

I can't see cornering lights causing issues with the foglamp housings, they're hardly on long enough to produce any decent heat.
Well something is causing an issue in my fog lamp

Interesting. Possible water ingress? I know my NS one has let in water ever since I hit a muntjac with the car :bang:

Then again might just be poor quality of parts knowing Fiat (n)

The local dealer tried to imply that the lamp was damaged by pressure washing, it never was in my ownership but possibly was during dealer PDI before delivery but yellowing only apeared between 15 and 18 months old!

Al.

When did you notice it? Is it bad?the picture is quiet small mate
If you click the picture it opens up mate

And in not the first to have this issue, in fact there was one on here recently that was much worse than mine. It definitely always seems to be the drivers side lamp as well.

Mine has done it too. My car sits in the sun for most of the day so I figured it was related to that rather than water ingress. Again it's worse on the drivers side but that's the southern side when the car is on the drive. As this subject has been raised has anybody found the plastic on the air vents has changed colour over time? Again I blame the sun because the one in the rear is like new still.

This has nothing to do with the sun. My cars sits in a garage or in shady place most of the day. Plus, the fog lights are not under any direct sunlight and the burned spots are only under the bulb. So it's pretty obvious it's a cheap plastic under the bulb which cannot cope with the heat from the bulb.

Pretty minor issue though, haven't thought about it at all since discovered it about 3 years ago.

Sorry guys, went on holiday and this thread kicked off! Haha

I have an 08 plate, 49k miles, currently no bubbling/discoloring at the fog lights! Thank god aha.

Wish I had the option to turn them off but I do not!

Mine also has this issue a 1.4 57 plate with 79k on the clock. I assumed the previous owner had maybe fitted a HID kit in the past but it seems not
