It has become annoyingly crackly. If I have my music even remotely loud it just vibrates and crackles. It's horrid. Anything I can do to help it? Hopefully without the need to replace it.

I have the same issue, I have to take it for servicing and see if it needs replacing, but turning down the bass all the way seems to fix it, sounds horrible but is least annoying that way, until I can get it fixed or get new speakers.
Needs replacing, had to change my NS rear door speaker for the same reason.
Took about 45min all in, box a used one from someone breaking a Bravo on eBay for only about £15 delivered
Just be aware they're riveted in place in the door though, so you'll need rivets and a rivets gun to refit the replacement
