So I ran the "Reset self-learnt functions" procedure with multiecuscan and now I've got this error popping up which results in a check engine light.

Anyone have any idea at all what I could do to fix this apart from flashing the entire ecu to stock?

I guess the first question would be which version of the bravo do you have?
Is it an automatic?

ignition on then press the clutch pedal then switch ignition off....the ECU doesn't know if its auto or manual but if it 'sees' the clutch being pressed then it knows it's a manual;)

Has the forum helped you and saved you money?all donations welcome to keep the forum running.

Well I've tried that and I've been driving it this entire week so its had plenty of time to realise its a manual :p

there is a switch on top of the clutch pedal .. your's might not be working.. ( see with MES).
You can check in the "Paramaters" section after you connect to the engine ecu...you should see "Clutch" or "clutch pedal".. and it should change it's value to "pressed" when pressed.
You can reset the switch with a pair of pliers just as you would the brake switch.

Also, specific conditions need to be met in order for the learning procedure to complete.

Fastest way to check the clutch switch (if you have cruise control) is set cruise on press the clutch, if cruise disengages switch works if it doesn't then switch dud, OR the clutch switch might of done the brake pedal switch stuck syndrome as above, but in that case cruise won't work, Just an idea . .

Cruise Control does work but I always disengage with the break pedal, so that's another thing to try thank you :)
