Hey

Trying to source a new steering wheel from Italy and I need the part number for a Bravo 150 T-Jet (2008) 5 door with the blue interior.

I rang Fiat dealer only to be told "we are not allowed to give out part numbers"

Any help appreciated...

Cheers

Oh I believe you lol. I'm saying that what they've said to you is horse crap.

That's Arnold Clarke Fiat in Oldbury, West Midlands. I asked for the part number of an item and he gave it to me no problem.

What about a recover? What made you want to change the steering wheel if you don't mind me asking? Mines has creases all over and I'm thinking to get a new one.

Does it have to be model specific, as mines doesn't have audio controls and I'd like one that did? :S

Hi

Well my new one arrived today:-

Makes my very worn one look terrible, as it like yours first started to crease and then peel off. I think it was down to direct sun light during the summer that did it. My new one will be being covered up during the summer months!

I bought from a guy in Italy using ebay. Just contact a helpful dealer in the UK who will give you the correct part number for the steering wheel fitted to your car. Then contact the ebay seller with your part number and he will get back to you if he has it in stock or can get you one. It will be a fraction of the cost of buying in the UK.

I used google translate to make things easier:-

I was originally going to get it recovered but the quotes I got were around £250 and I would be without my steering wheel and car for a week. So opted for a new one which can be swapped over in less than an hour by my local garage.

http://royalsteeringwheels.com/ have quoted me £130 to do a full recover on my sport steering wheel in nappa leather with perforated on sides like the original wheel. Will get mine done on the summer.

Blimey, they quoted me £1010..!

"Thanks for contacting us. I’d be happy to do this wheel and exchange option is available.

Bravo II Sport – perforated sides, smooth top/bottom, Blue stitching

The price would be 1010GBP + 9.99P&P (TNT next day recorded) and I would need 1-2 weeks to do so. I would also keep you updated so you know when to expect delivery.

Would you be interested?
If so, would you like to come for fitting or prefer posting?

Would you like a blue 1318 or darker blue 816 ( see file attached)?

More info about exchange:
For customers who use their car daily and can't send their wheel first we offer exchange option for this type of steering wheel to make the transaction easier and faster.

Exchange means - we send new steering wheel first and you have 10 days to swap them over and send your old, the same type steering wheel back to us (recorded delivery required) or Professional fitting available for 15GBP extra.
For Exchange option additional Deposit of 50GBP is required only as business protection and it will be fully refunded straight after receiving your same type steering wheel. Deposit not needed if you came to fit with us or if you send your wheel first.
What would be better for you?

If posting, could you provide your delivery address and PayPal email address so we could send you the invoice?

I look forward to hearing from you.
If you have any questions please ask.

Regards
Jack"

Guess there's a typo in there, should be £110 +P&P.

Yeah, that price is a bit much.

I had a look at the guys eBay store and he has some good stuff and great prices. I can't figure out why I saw different steering wheels for Fiat Bravo at different prices, even the Images look the same.

I'll have to think about it, a recover would be cheaper and customised to my requirements though. A new steering wheel at that price is also great.

I can't find a Indicater Stalk though :(
