Hey Guys.

I used to always get the hill holder error after disconnecting the battery like most people do and then it would just goes away soon after.

The past 2 resets though it hasn't gone away and its quite annoying, anyone have a method to get it removed? I also have an issue with my power not kicking in sometimes when I put my foot down, I'm kind of thinking the 2 are related.

Nope it doesn't no errors at all. I've tried to find a solution on other threads posted here but I seem to be the only one with Hill Holder as the soul problem. My ASR works perfectly fine, my ABS works and I have no other errors

Anyone got any suggestions for me?
I ended up changed the brake line sensor with a new one and that has solved the random lose of power but hill holder still pops up with an error and refuses to go away.

Does ANYONE know how to remove it or check it out under or around the car?

I'll try do a reset through my phone app and through various windows apps and get back with my results.

Damn these sensors and checks. I had the battery unplugged for almost 2 days.

hi ,i have the same problem ,it just shows hill holder error, mmmm getting to me now,i was hoping that there may be a answer to this problem on here, have spoken with fiat and they say £45 for a d/test to see what it is mmm sooner have the dam thing disconected,
if i get to find out i will let you all know the out come as its going in on monday

Have you tried what I said earlier in the thread. Disconnect battery, wait 5 minutes. Reconnect it and then go for a good half hour drive. Including hills, motorway. Basically all sort of driving. It's an ECU reset basically.

Half mile drive will be sufficient to reset hill holder, no need for 30 minutes (y)

hi to all with this problem hill holder, mmm well spent £45 for the garage to say that there seems to be a break in the cable some where between the abs sensors and may be the brake switch or the clutch switch mmm where do i start ,,any one help me please ,, should i start and replace the abs cables ,as i have changed both switches
