Technical Hill Holder Error

so far with this problem, been in the garage and had a D/check they think there is a break in the cable ,between the abs /break switch/clutch switch,i have changed both switches/a bit of a fiddly job,as other folk have stated about your break lights on, so i am going to look at the abs cable sensor,

HI guys, Im new member here. I also have the hill holder problem. It come and go.
I switch the key to stable all the current for few second and then start the engine.
The error not there. If I just started the engine without stable it the error will appear and effect the performance of the accelerators. Any solution??

First of all check your charging system.
Read the errors.
It could be caused by a weak battery or poor charging.

Agreed!

I started getting this error for about 2 weeks after i brought the car which had been standing for a while!

After some lengthy motorway journeys it stopped failing to work, so i out mine down to low charge in the battery

I have had exactly the same problem. Turned out it was a faulty brake light sensor. If I tapped the brake but didn't compress the light stayed on. This caused the hill holder to get confused as it thought the brakes were on. It also trips out the cruise control. The Fiat dealership said it's not unusual for this electrical fault to affect the power.
