My indicator stalk does not auto reset itself when I put the car straight after a turn; it will keep flashing until I manually turn it off :(

Is this supposed to happen and how do I fix it if it's not?

Thanks

mine resets too easy on right hands ( going round roundabouts) but stays on on a lot of left hand corners

Isn't it risky getting a used one? and what age can fit a 2008 Active model? I know some of the other models have stereo controls on them, mines doesn't, even tough I would like them :)

Yes as the clock spring must be central when removed and refitted. When new from factory they're secured in place with a locating tab. The money who's removed that first one hasn't kept it centred and secured it in place. As a result it's now 180 degrees out and useless as you don't know which direction it'll need to go to be corrected. Having it out could cause the clock spring to fail and potentially the horn or airbag to fail, or even detonate incorrectly!

What should I do  I don't want things to be expensive to fix
