Hi guys, just bought a Bravo T-jet 150 and I'd like to know which are the (best) options of piggybacks for this version.

tks in advance!

There's also the piggyback ECU (plug and play) from Novitec which is called the Powerjet II. Apparently, it increases the bhp from 150 to 172 on 1.4T-jet.

A few more details

- TMC
- Gtech 171hp 529 euros
- OBD
- Dastek Unichip
- Speed-Buster 188 hp 699 euros
- Racechip 179/192/193 hp 299/479/549 euros
- Novitec powertech 171hp 499 euros

I have the Powerjet II from Novitec for sale. Hardly used as it needs RON 97 petrol minimum to work. Since I am in Malaysia, the fuel we have here is RON 95, so it locks and goes into safe mode when installed. I bought my unit from Singapore where they have RON98 and above. Works there, in Singapore; it was a wonderful feeling when installed in Singapore, the power surge is just exhilarating . Anyone interested can email me at gurjitsinghdrATgmail.com

Very interesting! I didn't know this restriction about the gasoline used with the tuning box.

- Dastek Unichip ??

Another vote for TMC. Have it for 2+ years now, happy every day :) Just measured power with G-Tech the other day - 187 bhp on setting 9.

Just make sure you connect it right, otherwise you'll get the notorious limp mode.

Setting 9?

Limp mode?

Could you please explain? tks!

The TMC has a dial, allowing you to set different settings. From 1 to 9 each setting adds up 4% to the turbo pressure, if I am not mistaken.

Limp mode is like "safe mode" for your car. If the ECU detect that something's wrong, it limits your RPM, speed, etc.

Dear friend don't you get limp mode in set 9?
I saw in an older post from Darron that he says that set 7 is safer against limp mode.

in set 9, what is the torq you get?

tks in advance!

Just bought a TMC box and installed with a K&N inbox. Also bought a bigger intercooler and will install it. Next will be a decated downpipe. Gasoline is RON 102 and I'm using set 6.

Hey. Congrats on the purchase. :) Seems I never answered your question about setting 9...So: no, I never had limp mode in maximum setting, even though I ran it for several months. I now drive it on 7 with Shell 100 V-power.

Thanks a lot for the answer and congrats. My plan is to use 6 for a few days and then change to 7, then 8,.... until I find limp mode.

We also have RON 95 and 98 available here besides 102, which one do you think would be better for the TMC box?

Jack, bought a local one named Supercooler. used condition took from a previous Punto owner.
