Hi,

My rear window washer jet stopped working because the tube has disconnected under the bonnet. Is there a simple fix/guide for this? I tried to push it back in but the rubber bit on the male end doesn't fit into the female....

They should fit. I wonder if the rubber should be taken off the male bit, and put inside the female bit, then put the male bit into the female bit. Once you've got it together, a small cable tie might help hold it all together.

Yep, that did it! the male bit must have pulled the rubber seal out with it when it disconnected. Thanks. I can finally see out the back window again :slayer:

Mine does this every time there's a frost and I try to use it before it's thawed properly.

You've put the sleeve over the female bit after inserting the male, but you're sleeve has a nick at the end. Looks like it has little life left in it, especially if it has to be replaced many more times.

I had the same problem, but couldn't get it to go back together. However, I was able to source a bit of silicon tubing from work that went over both ends, and used a couple of small cable ties to secure it.

I wouldn't cable tie it or anything. They pop off for a reason. If it can't pop off they can split the pipe somewhere else which happened to mine. (Because of previous owner)

Thankfully it split under the rear seats and drained down out the bottom of the car and was an easy fix. If it splits around the rear window or somewhere awkward to get to then could cause a lot of pain and nuisance.

Hi guys, anyone tell me where this tube is located? Mine doesn't seem to want to work so guessing it could be this?

That connector is in the engine bay, on the left hand side of the car.

You can have somebody push the stalk to spray the rear while you listen in the engine bay to make sure the pump starts, and you should hear water dripping if this connection is your problem.

Just found mine is disconnected! What do I do to fix? Take the white but off and put it on the other side?

Hi, my rear wiper doesn't want to spray out neither. Can you someone show where I can locate the connector? I'm looking on the left of the engine bay but can't find anything.

It's really bugging me having a dirty rear window. Thanks!
