Just reviving this to add as I've just bought a 1.4 MultiAir Delta SR - Its fantastic!
Absolutely love it and for the price I paid for it!! We were contemplating a T-Jet Bravo but this stole the show. I've only had it a few days and have already been stopped twice by admirers..... Probaby not the best ride or communicative car in the world but for looks/comfort and certainly cost theres nothing to beat it - plus exclusivity!

Can someone post a pic of these slot(s) please, very curious.
Not got the car in sight at the moment, but they are to thin slots in the dashboard, next to the handbrake lever you have the cup holders, in front of that you have a little trays the card holders run parallel with it. They fit cards in length ways into the slot.

Ours seems to like the Spring, mpg up about 3 mpg and tonight driving home it seemed to have gained a new responsive nature! Probably all in the mind really.....and the ride still feels nobbly especially as we have 18s

Congrats on the car mate, I like it almost as much as my Bravo or the new Alfa. Bur I think the interior looks better in Bravo. It is more fluid, but I would get used to as I did get used to Bravo's dashboard and speedo numbers. Just a slight note, I do think that the car as good looking as this does not deserve a Chrysler badge.

Photos to follow but I've completed de-Chrysler'ing my Delta and it now sports (almost!) full Lancia branding including an OE Lancia front grill. Bit a hassle to fit as the whole front bumper needs to come off but definately worth it. Transforms the car and I never see another!

What are the Chrysler Delta's really like in real world conditions, as good as Bravo or better, besides the space they offer, as this model is on my short list as they seem to be good value for the money for a 1 year old Multi Air or Mjet model.

The Delta is ok I have no direct experience of the bravo but I believe it has all the same plus points and the same negatives. If you want something different they are great value as a used buy, if you can find a limited it's really the one to go for as the interior with leather covered dash, piano black trim and poltrona Frau leather seats has a much better ambience than the cheaper models plus the 165 diesel has a good balance of performance and economy, they are fairly rare though. Downside of delta is jittery ride, poor quality plastics in lower areas of the interior, cheap looking dash (except limited), mediocre handling feel, funny driving position and seats a bit over hard, high boot loading lip, poor rear visibility, Diesel engines relatively unrefined compared to latest generation engines from other manufacturers, all I think shared with the bravo. Despite this for the low prices that are around they are a real bargain

Hi. Thanks for the reply. The 165 limited are rare with just 52 on the road, further with 18" alloys must be a hardish ride. Seems the the SR spec, seems the one to have. So is the Multi Air any good, if the Mjet engine is gruff as you describe. I currently do 13,000 miles a year and will keep for. Minimum of 3 years.

I only occasionally look simply out of sad case interest but Cheapest asking price I've seen was for an early one with 30k on clock at 10 grand newer ones as much as 12 or 13 k if with low miles. I paid about 11.5k for ours which is an early one 61 plate with 10k on clock about 18 months ago which on reflection seems to have been a good price. I suppose it ought to be possible to get one for maybe 9k but there were only about 55 registered so they don't turn up very often, I suspect like our car that most were fiat company cars originally as you'd have to be off your trolley to pay 26k for one new, even at a typically large fiat discount it was still very expensive for a medium sized modestly powerful hatch.

The ride on 18s is a little jittery but you get used to it, because the wheelbase is longer and suspension is not sport spec I think it is not as bad as a bravo. Not all limiteds have 18s they were 650 quid option as standard limiteds are on 17s and rather posh ones too. I still like the 18s best though! The multijet is slightly noisier accelerating than some but it is very quiet when cruising, I would probably agree on a multiair as I think that the 1.6 diesel may be a bit short on outright power.

Thanks. (y). Ok did not know the limited came with 17" wheels as standard. I am torn between a Mjet or a Multi Air. Think only a test drive with a warm engine will determine which one has better insulation.

Have noticed that there is also a model called " S - Series " designed by Momo. Assume these are the final cars, look very mean in matt black.

There was one limited imported in full matt black paint scheme

I picked up a Delta a few months back................I am pleased with the car, but it ain't perfect.A 2011 (Sept. reg.)1.4 petrol SE Multiair Turbo model
How it compares with the Bravo, I cannot really say, but for sure it is very close
in most areas and a Bravo owner would feel at home behind the wheel.
The longer wheelbase gives more room in the back seat area, and I do like the adjustable base, and backs of the rear seats.
The boot size is good, and I'm not worried about the high rear lip.

Ian

Unlikely I will get that one. These " S " Series by Momo on 13, 63 & 14 plates tick the boxes and look the part with a matt black grill instead of chrome. Only come in Mjet guise, hubby tells me ripe for a remap on the standard 120bhp.
