Hi Guys

I have 2 questions

I was wondering if anyone has issues with the Blue & Me website? I would like to update my Blue & Me and was hoping you could download the update from the Blue & Me website and apply it using USB but everytime I search or enter the url the page comes up blank. Is there a point to updating? I was hoping if the update needed doing i could then be able to view my texts via the system as currently I cannot.

Also I have a weird thing that happens when I accelerate from around 1.5k rpm in either 4th/5th the car seems to feel as though its vibrating but it feels as if the entire car is doing so, it doesn't come from the steering wheel but as if the tyres were oval... I know that is vague but it may be the only way i can describe it. Would anyone know or have experienced such a phenomenon???

Just one more thing... Is it more economical to use your foot between 60 and (tut tut) 80 rather than cruise control as I found this week my fuel going farther than when I use my CC set at 60...?

Any help would be greatly appreciated.
 
I can't answer your questions regarding blue and me but in respect of the cruise control it is more efficient on a flat road but less efficient up or down hill. This is because downhill it applies the throttle when you don't necessarily need to and uphill increases the revs to achieve a constant speed when going slower could be more efficient. I live in Essex which is largely flat so the cruise control is no doubt more efficient but in hilly areas it may not be.

I can get on the site fine, unfortunately it uses flash so you will need to make sure you have the most up to date version.

Assuming yours is first generation v5.6 is the most you can update to. if you have a 150 (not a 165) there's a good chance you are on first gen.

You will need to check out the blue and me website for compatibility with your phone.

No it doesn't apply throttle down hill, if it's a decent gradient it'll engage fuel shut off, no different to if removing your foot from the pedal down hill. You are correct regarding the up hill bit, but its not different to how most seem to drive anyway.
