hi all not been on here for a bit 150 as been running great till last november. turned left into a junction engine missed so i stopped turned of engine and started it up again masive rattle from top end of engine. we stripped it diwn to find electrode from fourth spark plug in 2nd cylinder.damaged three cyilinders. bought second hand engine from a car parts place on the internet plus turbo fitted it week later turbo bust. bought a brandnew turbo from uk turbos fitted it 2 day thats gone any ideas. have cleaned feed and return oil pipes no blockages
the only thing the mechanic was woried about was white gunge at the drain plug.

hi there.
i had the exact same issue with a scudo at my garage only a few month back. 3 turbos is chewed..
basically we traced it down to lack of oil. there was a gauze fitted in one of the oil feed pipes to the turbo just as it comes out the block. Fiat themselves told us to remove it and try it...
the van has ran perfect since.
obviously we were exreemely cautious.. made sure new turbo was well lubed. and primed the oil before the big startup.
im not sure if your car will be the same.. but i can imagine your at a point where your open to any suggestions.

i know you said your oil pressure was ok. but we thought we had sufficiant pressure but turned out not to be the case.
