So I've had my aux cable for awhile now, know exactly how I want to set it up but for the life of me I can't get my radio out and I kinda gave up a few months ago.

I reallllly want to play music through my phone, I have a custom sound system installed and the radio was removed for that, sadly didn't have cable then. I even went to go have pins made to specifications on another thread here. so PLEASE someone make a vid on hows its done, I need to see because I just cant seem to do it.

PS: When radio was removed first time it was done with... wait for it... a spoon and a knife, nothing broken or scratched.

have posted video on youtube (couldnt upload here)..search "fiat bravo 2007 radio removal" and filter results to most recent.
keys must be 10mm by 1.6mm with decent taper to push latches gently aside( you should be able to feel this happening)
when aside, the radio will easily slide out,

Thanks man! So you pull from the top? Those 2 metal keys, did you have them made and when you used them did you push them to the side while trying to pull from the top because it didnt look like it?

made them myself from 1.5mm ally sheet...the taper is quite important...about 30mm long...when inserted and the latches are pushed back, the unit will slide out easily. i pulled from the top as its easy to grip there
chris..you dont need to push them to the side..the taper pushing the latches aside is all that's required as long as nothing has been damaged with the "cutlery solution"

Ok so 1.6mm heigh, 10mm wide and the taper 30mm? I think thats where I went wrong.... the ones I had made were only about 20mm. I'll get some made tomorrow hopefully and check, thanks again... I'll let you know :)
