Hi everyone,
im new here, m wife has a 1.9 diesel 120bhp.

i was winding her up over her abrupt braking so she made me drive it.
the biting point is never the same place twice, which is really annoying, especially in traffic.

also if your braking and then dip the clutch, the biting point of the brakes moves again.


just wondered if its a common fault or some issue.

Breaking point should never really move tbh. Not sure what the cause would be, but sounds like you've an issue. Servo vacumm hasn't got a leak has it

im thinking nothing is common between the 2 systems other than the resevior?

seems dodgy.
