I recently changed all my brakes pads at 30,000km. Since then I get a singular knock noise when I brake and slow down to anything below 10kph. I'm not sure whether it is from the front or the rear brakes. The dealer said that they don't have clue what it is and to drive it as normal.

Anyone knows what this might be?

I'm glad im not alone on this. Same story here, changed front pads and discs from about 3,000 miles later, i get a single knock from the front when i slow down to about 10mph, as im coming to a stop (but before i acctually stop). I assume its because i used non oem pads, and maybe they only knock once because they expand due to heat?
Also, its getting louder and more noticeable now. Any ideas guys?

Mine are OEM brakes pads, it was my first service though

craig my does exactly the same, get a bit of a clunk just before stopping around 10mph, my pads where changed about 5k ago, they where just the cheap allied nippon pads as I had sod all money at the time, mine seems to be more from the passenger side though

Same here with regards to the cheap pads because of no cash. In all fairness it stopps great, just the clunk is frustrating. Ive noticed now that i get a click when i apply the brakes, then a clunk as i start to lift my foot off the pedal, anything from 30 mph and below! Wierdly i dont get anything if i break hard or aggressivley.
