Off Topic Bravo Owners: Thinking of Trading for Alfa GT

BMW 335i is a nice motor with the twin turbo engine, but with a rolling start and in gear the GT 3.2 can munch a 330 quite easily.. Install a q2 in the GT 3.2 and uprate the suspension and it becomes a much different beast and is 1million times sexier than any BMW...

:)

Are you high?

Crappy chassis, crappy front wheel drive, crappy weight distribution, unreliable powertrain for tunning and less precise steering.

That's what the alfa (all alfas) is compared to the 3 series coupé.

If you want a stylish car that you can tune for reasonable performance then might as well stay with the bravo, at least you get better electronics and decent reliability.

I think the Alfa GT is getting a bit old now. I think it could be a waste of money. The only Alfa I would get would be one of the new 1.8T guilietta which looks epic fun. the 159 is a good option too!

I dont rate the 330's & 335's, might as well get an older M3 tbh. might as well do it properly if going to buy for performance. Im also not a fan of the beemer, only ones I would own would be an M5 or M1. think everything else is not worth the money. but thats my opinion.

just got an insurance quote on a 2.4 JTDM Brerah....same price to insure as my 1.4l bravo....erm don't mind if i do say WFT....just know what I'm buying in two years when i give bella back :D

Hey Mate,

The GT especially the 3.2 has a much better sense of occasion that the FIAT mine is fitted with KW Coilovers, Ragazzon DTM quad way Exhaust and autodelta carbon fibre air filter and it sounds unbelievable and the handling is also much better than the bravo.. The xenons on the GT are great.

Oh and the GT does get much more attention..

Really? My GT was shocking! Yes, it looked the part as if it was sent from Hell by Satan himself, super road prescence. However, I had all the bits done to it and it was still rubbish, didn't go round corners great, turning circle of an oil tanker, poor build quality and not perfect fitting panels. Stonking engine though and the Ragazzon sounded great too!
