Dear Forum members,

I'm an automotive engineer from Greece! (Glad to be a member by the way)!
Yesterday a client of mine brought a Fiat Bravo 1400 Turbo 2009 year with 150HP to my repair shop!

He has a problem with the acceleration! While driving at around 2000-2500 rpm suddenly the acceleration pedal wont respond to command! If you let the pedal and push it again it works fine!!!:bang: Sometimes this problem appears at low rpm too!
I've never encountered that problem before! Do you have any idea of what's the cause?

Thanks in advance

I'd start by checking the throttle potentiometer has a smoothe & progressive action with no dead spot first.

Check the brake light switch. If it is misadjusted this will happen.

Hi.
I have the same problem in my car. I've changed the brake switch, the accelerator pedal and a lot off stuff in my car and nothing helps. No error codes on OBD. If you resolve your problem, please give me the answer. Thanks
