Hello there. I've recently bough a Fiat Bravo X reg and I'm really pleased with it, however I want to replace the car door locks and the ignition barrel. I have one blue key for the car (I tried reading the guide about the keys, and I think this is all I should have, i.e. no red key). But the key is quite jerky to get into the locks and requires a few twists and turns to open the doors.

My real problem is the ignition barrel though, it's a right pain and can take up to a few minutes sometimes just to get the key turning/engine on.

Does anyone have a guess how much this would cost to have a whole new key/lock system put into my car including door locks, petrol cap and igntion barrel? and possible upgrade the key to a Remote Keyless System if that's possible (sorry if that sounds stupid I'm no expert on the matter).

Or what are the chances that I took my blue key to Timpsons for a copy that the new key might handle the locks more smoothly with it being a new key just with the same locks?

Sorry if any of this sounds daft but any advice/help on prices or recommendations would be great, cheers people.
