Hi Guys,

As I said before in previous threads, I've gone for the Arjo front bumper and skirts from Mad Motors.

Here it is:

First Impressions: nicely packaged and good quality f/glass, no pin holes or chips etc as found on other kits and comes well primed.

The weather has stood in my way to spray it myself so I've had to take it into the bodyshop as really need the space back in my flat!

The front bumper has come out really nice, I was told that it is relatively easy to fit, no real problems. He quoted £150 but it came to £175 in the end (typical bodyshop). I was under the impression that he said that included the mesh grille (I know too good to be true) but that hasn't been done so I'll do that myself (done the top part).

The side skirts were a no-go i'm afraid (n) He said they are worse than universal ones, they don't fit, they would need brackets etc welded (n) and even then there would be gaping holes in the ends :(

I'm currently disputing this with Mad Motors (who are being very good about it).

I think this bumper looks the nuts (y) it doesn't ruin the car at all, I hate the rounded front end of the GP and the Bravo, this squares it off and looks much better.

I'm going to be very neutral here and say it's not my cup of tea.

The /''''''''''''''\ part is the only bit that looks different. The rest of it follows the original lines. Thus in my eyes it doesn't suit the car and spoils the lines.

There, didn't get too carried away.

RE: Body Kit Looking Rank!

You've all been very conservative and diplomatic in your responses so let me wade in!

E-N-Z-O, what the hell have you done to your car? It's ruined, it looks awful! Firstly, I want to stick cocktail sticks in the eyes and scrotum of the guy who penned and designed this kit, secondly, I want to garotte anyone crazy enough to part with their hard earned cash who paid for this!

I'm sorry mate, don't take it personally, but you've destroyed a perfectly good looking car, this should now feature on a chav website, Google one, there are plenty out there, it's where you'll get your positive comments.

:yeahthat:

And I think some people in Swansea may be interested in that Reg number plate as well... looks a bit dodgy...

Looks like its done a good job of clearing the snow in West Sussex. Does it have big fans that draw snow in the front and chuck it out the sides?

Not all of the snow has been cleared by it - there's plenty on my run to and from work.

I am sorry but the car doesn't float my boat, rather it renames it to RMS Titanic (n)

looks bad.. I find it hard to believe that this is a professionally made body kit, the mesh grille looks all messy and non symetrical.

If you really want to keep this thing at least spray the mesh in black, it looks like a prison window and find a way to stick your plate back on the bumper.

I think this is a standard bravo bumper that's been canibalized for it's top part and combined with a standard chavtastic bumper for a pug 206 or something... it's gonna need a lot more work to look good. (bigger wheels, sideskirt, decent color styling...)

I dont wanna traash talk your efforts but I dont think these sort of mods suit this car. The egg crate grille is one of its defining features and its gone, replaced with something of any standard chavtastic Peugeot.

Now this on the other hand...

Now how sick is that!! Do you have an image of the front? I know it's PhotoShop, but most def the best bodykit out there, even if not real...

Providing they haven't changed the front too much I'll give this a thumbs up, except the skirts which are just too big... and how are you supposed to open the doors?! lol

All the front really needs is a bit more skirt and a slightly larger splitter. The diffuser on the rear of that "abarth" looks quite sexy, even if it is all show.

Sorry, no more pics I'm afraid. Hadnt noticed the doors, they are comically small.

A few more cool ones (not my designs of course!):
