well done, i got my connect nav now but i cant get the standard HU out :( i broke the pins so it only comes out an inch any ideas? i've tried pushing them in, no luck i think only brute force will do it so ive got a long screw driver and a hammer waiting to attack the pins

Hi, typical problem .... I broke mine too after having the unit out and in again .... the pins are broken for sure if only 1 inch out, but what you can do is to take a long screwdriver and lift it in between the radio and the bracket where the pins hold it (you access from down taking the plastic below the radio away), this way I got mine out. A good idea is to find out also if its both sides or just 1 side that is stuck, if both sides you might need 2 long screwdrivers....

Good luck :)

both pins are definately broken i've tried shoving a screwdriver down the side with no luck, just thinkin about getting a hammer and the screwdriver and trying to snap the pins off but there's not as much room on the right handside than there is on the left both are tight though, i assume you need a thin screwdriver i've got a thickish one which is a bugger to get in

Hi, mine was broken in left side, I took a flat screwdriver pretty long and forced it in between the radio and the bracket and got it loose this way (accesssed it from below after unmounting the plastic shield).... hope U will succeed too :)

thanks for the replies perhaps i'm being too impatient with it i'll have to get a really thin flat screwdriver and try it i'll look into it when i can busy with work at the moment.

FINALLY!!! got the bstrd out was a hammer n screwdriver job in the end managed to brake both pins off:D

connect nav+ installed and i'm very pleased with it! just 2 things to sort out now

1. get a new cage so that it fits flush

2. get the language to english, the acutal unit text is in english but the voice is till in italian lol! i downloaded the setup CD but it still says failed anybody got the proper CD and or any advice cheers guys and thanks for the support :slayer:(y)

bumb:
The text has automatically turned to english but the voice language remains italian, when i start the unit though it says "outfit configuration not available" and when i try to change the language it says "setup change failed" is this because Fiat need to programme it to the car via the canbus network first before i can change the language with the set up CD?

I've installed the switched +ve wire correctly everything works just need the woman to speak english now n get rid of that outfit config message.

Also regarding the set up CDs there are a fair few on the net has anybody downloaded any tried and tested ones that worked for them?

Any help would be appreciated.

EDIT:
Just checked on the Navteq website, which says all Bravo CN+s are NIT G2.

Also checked in ePER, which lists the same part number (51756395) setup cd for the NIT GI Stilo and the Bravo CN+. This is for CN+s fitted up to 15/05/2009. After that date they changed to memory cards.

I posted a link to the Stilo setup CD, and the instructions for it in post #2 of this thread:

https://www.fiatforum.com/stilo/282661-sat-nav.html

I've used this one successfully on about 20 Stilo CN+s.

long awaiting i tried that Set up CD and it didnt work but when i change the language it doesnt ask me for the set up disc just says "failed to change set up" ?

also is there a way to disable the phone system permanently on the Connect Nav? it overrides the commands needed for the blue and me system.

Hey guys. Been following this and other threads about Cn+ as i got one for my 2010 fiat bravo. It has been hard to find a way to get everything ok but yesterday i've managed to pass a hard step (Change voice language with setup CD). The only things that are missing are connecting Mic that comes with car (B&M version) and proxy alignment. About maps, the last maps are from 2013/2014 ?

Does anyone have recent maps running on CN+ ?

Thanks in advance:)
