General headlight beam benders / deflectors

General headlight beam benders / deflectors

Yes. Get them from the net, (try amazon) they are around half the price of Halfords.

Also despite what it says, I only ever use one on the passenger side of the car. The driver side headlight does not point over enough to bother people on the other side. Having this set up I never get flashed by people being dazzled.

To fit mine I park infront of garage door with the lights on (when its dark ;)), then move the circle around until it gets the offending part of the beam (the bit furthest over) then stick it on. Job done!

Can't remember the name of the building but as you can see a 500 owner had the same idea I did ;) There's a Delta, Mito and Punto Evo out the front now.

There are also some really cool derelict 60's/70's factories in the area which aren't on streetview. Didn't get the chance to get a pic of the 500 in front of them though :( Drive a few laps of Mirafiori and you'll find them :)

Will try and get the my rubbish pics of my 500 in these places uploaded to give you a better idea.

If you're there on a Sunday I can well reccomend having a look at some of the markets a bit further out of the city centre if you're into your mega-obscure 60's/70's Italian vans.

I took the bravo to Italy last summer, a place called Salerno which is in the south of Italy, went through the Gottard Tunnel and straight on the A1 motorway from Milan to Rome then the A3 following Reggio Calabria to Salerno past the Amalfi Coast which is absoultely fantastic.

I will definetly be doing this again.

Dont forget the rules, always have your drivers license and insurance with you, spare bulbs, a flourscent jacket and a triangle.
Plus remember european breakdown cover, you never know if you need it.

Tolls are expensive but who cares :)

Have a great time Rob and PROV!

Another cool thing about Salerno is that it's where the Allies landed in WW2 :)

Good to hear you had a nice trip Rob(y) I just came back myself, after a trip to Portofino, Italy with the 500:) Went to the cinquecentisti meeting:) 5000 km`s and 10 countries in one and a half week and the 1,2 was excellent, just like last year(y) I might go with the Bravo next year if the kids is coming with us:p More fun with the 500 tough:eek:
