FGAUK today announced a rather severe streamlining of the Bravo range.

From 1st July 2010 only seven different models will be available.

Specifications will be as before with the exception of ESP & HillHolder becoming standard.

New range price list attached:

A pity they couldn't rationalise it NOW and fit the Multiair head to the complete range. Only one model, in Q3, with the latest fuel saving technology. Hopeless.

So is that retail part the dealer cut?

I can understand them not bringing cars in that they dont sell

I meant is that the dealer margin? If not what is it? Ta

EDIT: Its not the VAT is it?

I guess so.

All the letter said was "...we’ve rationalized the range focusing on the best selling versions..."
Looks like they've stopped doing the 1.6 Diesel bar the Eco model without an auto dualogic box. Bizarre but at least my car is now unique (of sorts!)

That is bad news. I'm due to change my car July 2011 I own a 150 T-Jet and unless the multi air version can offer a car with comparable performance I will not be buying a Fiat next time round. I was hoping to replace like for like as love my 150 T-Jet by far the best Fiat I have ever owned.

The replacement of the Alfa 149 will be out by then, based on the new Bravo platform and promising a 1.8 Tjet engine with 180bhp~ plus potentially a hot version (250bhp~) you can still get a Bravo sized car with decent performance.

Its available to order now in the UK, official release tomorrow or sat at Goodwood.

Its built on an all new platform, and has 1.4 petrol multiair (170BHP) and a 1.8 Turbo cloverleaf (235BHP), and a couple of diesels.

I had a look on Fiat.co.uk the other day and wondered what was going on with the Bravo - this explains it.

Trouble is, their website just shows the Dynamic petrol as 1.4 16v, no mention of TJET. Either it's a typo or theyve decided to actually drop TJET altogether, which is not what it says in Scrogg's PDF document.

And if they'd ever advertised the Bravo, they might not have needed to slim down the range. Fiat UK have made a complete balls-up of the Bravo. It couldve done much better than it has, but they were too bothered thinking that everyone who wants a Fiat wants a 500. Little advertising (none at all for at least 18months) the 5 year warranty cock-up and more recently, price rise after price rise. Now JD Power have published a load of complete bol*ocks about it, saying the opposite of what Driver Power and numerous owner reviews have always said - that it's a generally dependable car.

My only hope is that Fiat UK actually decide to tell people through the wonderful invention that is TV, when they launch the Multiair in the Bravo, so that it may enjoy a late in life sales surge. Otherwise once the histeria over the 500 has worn off, they'll be left with no customers.

They never advertised the Croma Mk2 - look what happened to that in the UK. It lasted about 2 years before being withdrawn from the UK range.

Very true. I reckon if the Bravo was in a larger class like the Croma, it wouldve gone the same way.

Ii love my Stilo, but lets face it, it was hardly a raving sucess for Fiat. You'd have thought after that they'd wanna really prove a point with the Bravo, but they don't seem to give a toss.
