So, despite being a true New Bravo & Fiat fan, have to say the new
Giulietta doesn´t look bad !

Sharing the same plattform and some of the engines (?) have to say
that they have succeeded nicely with this car. Also in some angles
you find some Bravo in it.

They dont really share platforms, the Giuliettas is brand new. They will put the next Bravo on the platform however. A few of the engines are available in both, diesel wise anyway.

I sat in a Giulietta in Paris last month and its a stunner, loved it. I am trying to persuade the GF to trade in the Bravo for one ;), not having much luck however (n);)

It is a good 4-5k more than the equivalent Bravo.

Lucky you ! Have seen & " cold tested " the Giulietta :) The price is
offcourse with the " Alfa add ", but reasonably priced in some European
countries.

The Alfa is new from the ground up, the next Bravo will use the Alfa platform.

The Alfa kills the Bravo for looks, the running gear and dynamics are far superior as is the quality and spec and unfortunately the price too, it's a proper Alfa, back to form.

The replacement 159, the Giulia will also be based on the (elongated) Giulietta platform.

I'll go back to Alfa when finances allow it, ownership is so much nicer than any other car I've ever owned, you really feel special when behind the wheel of an Alfa, I love them.....................

I really prefer the look of the Bravo personally, the features on the front of the alfa look to small, whereas the Bravo looks abit maserati-esqe which I love.

Preformance wise the Alfa looks good, but it even though it is resonably priced for its class, the used cars you could get for the money will ourt perform it.

If i got given one tho i wouldnt complain, lovely car tbh, but I would rather keep my Bravo :D personal opinion ofc!

The New Fiat Bravo MY Edition with Multiair 140 HP engine.

I believe that Alfas sales have started allready in some countries and
at least in Germany, the Giulietta QV starts from 28 300e.

The "Cannon version" that is

I am a massive fan of the Bravo's looks, but in the flesh the Giulietta is a stunner. Looks better than the pics suggest.

They had an "open weekend" in Italy last weekend and took 2700 orders in two days, which apparently was lower than expected

An important thing the Bravo and Giulietta do share is the factory where they are built!

Giulietta looks very good indeed. Perhaps the best in silver, white, red
and gray. 2700 orders is a good amount.

I find some "German" in the tail lights, but perhaps it´s just me ;)

IMO the alfo is way nicer looking and power wise I think it will top the Bravo.

However I dont think I cant afford to change my car so I will stick to my Fiat :)

I'd buy one tomorrow, owned a 147 2.0 TS before and adored it, but alas - I'm broke so the Bravo stays. It's a good consolation though!

I love em both, the front end on the Bravo is nicer, but the Alfa's back end is sexier.
The new chassis and setup would probably win me over to the Alfa but the cost is what's stopping me.
Maybe in 12 month's when ex-demo's start appearing

I think you'll find that the Giulietta shares a lot with the Bravo. It is certainly not all new from the ground up

Component wise it probably does share parts, as with all FGA cars. However, the platform is new, only 5% carry over. It also gets slightly uprated engines (170BHP diesel vs 165 in the Bravo) and gets multiair before the Bravo.

Hmmm AFAIK it shares a good deal of the floorpan. It's certainly not all new from the floor up.
