Re: Prototypes

Ok, here are a couple of photos, one with the badge removed and one with a prototype badge. The finished badges will have a black background and the print quality will be much better and they will be a perfect fit of course. What do you think?

How do you remove the badge?

You do not remove the badge, you remove the inner, the part that says FIAT.

Slide some strong fishing wire behind it, see saw from the top to the bottom, the badge falls off, use some white spirit to remove any residue glue and foam left by the inner badge, stick your new badge in!

What about the rear badge? How do you replace that? Also, can I just stick it on the old badge (the Fiat one)?

Thanks & Cheers.

Do you have step-by-step guide (with pictures preferably) on the installation?

Thanks & Cheers.

Ok, get a strong peice of fishing line. Slide it behind the FIAT badge, the red insert in the chrome badge holder, see-saw the fishing line from the top all the way down to the bottom, this cuts and seperates the foam adhesive from the holder and badge and the insert falls out. Repeat this on the rear badge too. With white spirit remove and clean all the foam left in the holder. You can then stick the new ABARTH badges in place where the FIAT ones were. It's really easy.

I'm a little disappointed with people. There was much enthusiasm for these badges, Kevin and I developed them. He manufactured 100 pairs and to date has only sold 7 pairs not even recovering the development costs. Poor show.

On the other hand..........................

whats your point? If people dont want them then they dont want them
Do you think you are going to shame them into buying?

twincamms,

Chill out, brother. Don't take the comments personnally. I understand the effort to make this things. Infact, I appreciate any third parties who will consider doing stuff for our beloved Bravo.

By the way, I believe not many Bravo owners outside UK know about this. Will try to spread the word around.

And Cheers, bro.

I dont think people have got clear answers thats what may be scaring them...

1-) Will this fit all bravo models 2007 + ?
2-) The rear badge on my Bravo is PUSH button to release the boot. It feels like a solid hard plastic. Is this the same as yours?
3-) If so did you pretty much rip it off and replace?

The front badge as you said is just use some fishing line or wedge something and pop it/rip it off... and replace with this new badge.

However the rear one seems more complicated.

Once its stuffed up its not that cheap to replace...

If you had made up a clear HOW TO thread watch the sales go through.

I will buy one ASAP once these questions are clearly answered.

I do love the product just need confirmation on these...

Thanks!

Yes

Comes off exactly the same as the front, fishing line behind the badge.

3-) If so did you pretty much rip it off and replace?

Not rip it take, take them both off gently.
