I used to have the Croma 150 MJET, excellent as a company car and have replaced it with the Bravo 1.6 MJET Duologic as the Croma is no longer available.:cry:The Bravo is 3 months old , 14,000 miles on the clock , spends most of it's time loaded up with my test equipment and performs very well on all types of roads including farmers tracks BUT the Duologic gearbox either gets itself confused when pushing on a bit on A roads and on motorways shudders and shakes .Bravo is due its first service and I want to tell the FIAT garage something worth while or possible solution to the problem.
Anybody else had this problem ?

Overall very happy with the Bravo:D even though it is missing 30bhp in comparison to the Croma .The other guys in my section have the Vauxhall Insigna , and everyone of them is bitching about how crap it is .The Bravo rocks !! :slayer:

Unfortunately, I cannot help with the gearbox problem, but what I can say is I'm glad you like the Bravo so much. It's a fantastic car, even my 90hp model plays a fair game. You'll certainly be turning a lot more heads than the Insignia drivers... that car is just so japanese looking it's horrible. That 30bhp you're missing can be easily forgotten as you remember that you're driving a sex car.

The Dualogic box is not as smooth as a conventional autobox, but it shouldn't shudder nor shake at motorway speed. My (1.4Tjet-120) only does that when I am going up hill at dead slow speed following traffic with light throttle, the computer can't seem to decide whether to stick with 2nd gear or drop down to 1st gear then it could shudder for a little bit before it makes up its mind.

Btw, I always put the box in "Eco" mode. Yes, I know, I am a cheap ass, no need to remind me on that!
