Hey people,

I have been an avid reader ever since I ordered my new Bravo over 3 months ago and today is the day...I leave in 15mins to go and pick it up! Cannot wait!!

Already have my iPhone adapter (picked it up in Italy) and everything is ready...the spec is;

2009 Bravo Sport 1.4 T-Jet
Maseratti Blue w/ Blue Sail Cloth + Stitching
18" Alloys (wasn't so keen on the twin-tone/black ones when they got dirty!)

It's going to be amazing!!

I will post pics as soon as I get any.

Woop! (Just thought I would share my excitement with y'all!):D

Cheers,

Tim

Gratz on the purchase!

Im very very happy with mine, as for the alloys comment all i can say is DONT let it get dirty!!!! wash and wax, wash and wax and it will look great! :D

I would'nt mind gp or 500 abarth alloys on mine, but for now standard is good enough

Oooooft! its absolutely amazing!!!

Love it! So responsive, plush interior, nice driving position, Blue&Me is flawless with iPhone 3g/iPod (with connector)...just amazing.

Well chuffed with it all, colour is so nice and the 18" alloys make it look nice and sporty.

I will get some pics over the weekend and get them up here.

Only gripes are: no armrest, from the website it seems to show an arm rest in the middle with a 'chilled compartment' but mine doesn't have one and the Italian Sport model comes with a boxed subwoofer in the boot, UK version doesn't?

But all in all...epic! :D

Sport doesn't. Dynamic does. Easy to retrofit. See in the 'guides' section (top of the page, 2nd in on the blue bar under the forum logo).

edit: not there yet - will dig out the thread and make a guide from it when I get home.

Absolutely beautiful car(y) Maserati blue looks good:cool: Now I cant wait until I get mine in Maranello red on friday:worship: Only wish I had your engine:p

Aircon comes as standard...just doesn't have dual climate control...couldn't see much use for it in Scotland...and didnt have the extra £250! Spent that on the 18" alloys!

Air conditioning isn't the blowers.

Air conditioning keeps the air temperature of the car at whatever you want, whereas the blowers keep getting colder or hotter.

It may be wrong to you but everyone else calls standard dial operated cooling "air conditioning"

The electronic type is called "climate control" and gives you far more control over the inside temp of the car

I have to disagree with skimpy[sorry m8] here as ive had climate control in my two cougars for the last 10 years in Scotland and its worth its weight in gold. You just set the temp and it stays there, you dont have to muck about with the dials constantly. My bravo can also be set for each side of the car but dont know if that will be any good as yet.

Nah but thats wrong and I take you just went round the world and asked EVERYONE? It doesn't condition the air.

What planet you from "white bravo" the drugs have taken there toll

Go here

http://www.fiat.co.uk/showroom/comp...,198,198&ses=true&hash=showroom/bravo/compare

Look down the list and you will see "air conditioning" as standard on the active model

Further down you will see "Dual zone climate control" as standard on the dynamic models

Air conditioning is where air is "cooled" by a refrigeration unit to make the environment cooler

Climate control is where electronics are used to further enhance the control over said air conditioning, a bit like the thermostat in a home. Climate control also is used in the winter to keep the car at a steady warm temperture

WHat's that with the iphone connector? So it doesn't work of the box with the iphone?? I have one, so could you please provide some links to check out this connector as I will probably have to buy one...

There are three types of ventilation available. Standard (dials with 2 buttons), Air Con (with the third * button) and Dual Zone Climate Control (LCD screen with lots of buttons). All but the lowest spec have Aircon as standard, Active models and up (I believe that there is a 'bravo' spec below Active). Some spec differs from country to country though and I'm talking about the UK spec.

The Aircon (referred to as 'climate control' in the manual ) button underneath the dials conditions the air when used and is usefull in cold conditions for demisting the windows fast. I use the Aircon in my Active Bravo often, even when on hot setting as it's less 'stuffy' in the car.
