Just ordered this TMC box, not much for that at moment here in Finland though... ;) I will write some kind of review after I manage to install it, and after all that white **** is gone from roads.

Good investment, I've been running a TMC box for a couple of months now and still get a big grin on my face every time I 'launch' the car down the road :D

White **** but at least you guys have snowplows and decent gritting trucks (with plenty of grit) unlike the UK

Yeah we have to come out with shovels and tubs of table salt!! :D

Hello guys.

Guess the TMC box just works on turbo charged engines, right?

My Bravo uses the 1.8 eTorq engine. Petrol and/or ethanol. 132hp (140hp on dynamometer).

Is it possible to tune it to get more power? Heard this engine easily hits 160hp but I don't know how.

Bravo is new in Brazil. Started 2010. So, everything here is new or unknown. :bang::bang:

We don't get the eTorq, some markets get different engines due to cost and taste variations, like the very old 2.5 170bhp V5 VW has in the US, because they still prefer the big N/A style, even though the TSI engines are better and more efficient.

It's the same with the FIAT eTorq, they are cheaper to produce and are locally made to suit local markets. I might be wrong, but I believe these are GM derived engines, or at least shared with GM.

Just looked up the eTorq because I got curious, it isn't a GM engine, but an adaptation of the Tritec engine. This was a joint venture between Chrysler and Rover/BMW. It was bought by FIAT Powertrain Technologies in 2008.

Hi all,

I'm driving a 1.4T-Jet Bravo (M), and tested the TMC tuning kit. With the kit, you can immediately feel the extra power when you are accelerating. :) Very useful when over-taking other cars.

Like the kit already and easy install. :)

Hi everybody . I order a kit for my old Bravo 1.4 T-jet 150 PS in China.
I hope turbo , clutch and gear will resist.
If Caron still in business , please could you send me manual in English ? Thanks.

TMC Box receive in only 10 days , good. Install in 20 minutes , fix cables and found in place for the box.
Good improvement for my Bravo T-Jet 150 . I'm in China and not so many Bravo .....I can use only 95 ROM . do I have to modify switch on the box (position 6) ?

As far as I remember, each level adds 4% to the pressure. I am currently using it on 7. Somebody somewhere said 7 was best compromise. You should basically drive it with 98 RON or higher, otherwise your car may enter the notorious limp mode.
