Hi everyone,

I would like to fitt a Fiat cruise control on my 1.6 Mltj 90hp Bravo, but I have not the white connector to plug in the alfa 147 CC switch ...
My e-learn is too old to show new 1.6 engines.
I just need to know on which engine connector and on which contact I have to plug the different CC switches.
Therefore, if a dealer could help me sending the updated wire diagram.
Thanks in advance for a fast reply.

Cheers.

Hi,

Unfortunately, my eLearn doesn't include 1.6mjet also.

I have already installed CC to both type of T-jet and 1.9mjet 8V.
The common was only the ECU connector ( M010A ), but the pin layout of CC was different.
We used second hand stilo or bravo CC arm, which have been bought from a "car-breaker" ( a place where cars are disassemblied ).
We bought new lower shrouds from dealers. It's better than make a cutout on the old one. (It cost about 22euro)
I hope U will have success to get wiring of 1.6mjet.

Good luck

Does anybody have a picture of the Cruise Control Stalk in its place?

I'd be most obliged if a Bravo owner with cruise control put a picture of it.(y)

It looks the same as 1.9mjet.

hi,

Many thanks for your help ...
But the first thing I need is 1.6D MTJ pins layout.
My car is not fitted with the (magic...) white connector for CC stalk.
And it seems nobody did this modification on this typ of car at the moment.

Cheers !!!

Hi,

Maybe I wrote wrong way. The pin layout exactly the same.
My carmate installed CC on this week and it works properly.

Super,

As you seem to get the right document, please could you send me the wiring diagram as shown in your attached one ??

I have checked on my car but maybe on the wrong connector on ECU.

Cheers.

M010A connector. This is the right one, on the top of ECU.

Hi,

Has anyone try to do a "simple CC" with only one switch to memorize the speed ??
It would be cheaper ...and may be enough as function.

Cheers.

You would nead a latching on-off switch, press-on/press-off, so you could switch the cruise off if required, plus a press-to-make switch to memorise. The bare minimum would be a wire link to keep CC on, and two wires to short together to set speed.

thanks for your reply ...
If I don't want to adjust the car speed with "+" or "-", then I just need a switch to connect "+" from contact key to pins "77" and "38" on M010 ecu connector.
If I switch on this way, my car would keep its current speed.
If I switch off, the speed in memory will be lost.
This would mean that a single simple switch on/off is needed.

I am going to test on my car to check the good working.

Cheers.
