Styling 2010 facelift for Bravo

Hmmm, looks like an old story.

According to this quite reliable site, it's only the "Bravo FL" (4x4?)

http://www.italiaspeed.com/newsite/futuremodels.htm

Erm ..... FL = "Face Lift" :D

Checkout the previous FL's such as the Grande Punto etc, there is no FL model coming out. That site is about the most accurate for all things Italian car launch/updates too so I would bank on it that they will be correct on the 2010 date too. :)

Also the previous post's quoted link makes total sense. Three years projection of a model *is* nothing even at a car's launch:-
Fiat is looking about three years down the road. That's not a very long lifecycle for a car, but Fiat plans to launch a facelifted Bravo in 2010. Planned alongside the updated hatchback are an extended wagon version plus a high-performance Bravo Abarth. Although it's becoming common practice for automakers to blur the line between large hatchbacks and sportswagons, Fiat evidently sees the addition of a distinct wagon as essential to certain key markets.

LOL ...oh yeah :p

IIRC the 'FL' for the GP (Grande Punto) was mainly inside and options rather than external.

All Fiat's engines will begin to be uprated with the new Multiair technology later in the year, and this will come with a few tweaks to the spec and details, but nothing really noticeable. I believe the GP gets the new Multiair turbo engine first, in September, with the Mito and then all the others falling into line pretty quickly.

You'll probably know already, but the new heads give 10% better economy and power, with about 15% better torque. The Diesels will get the new heads as well at some stage.

Not much point in ''face-lifting" the current Bravo; it's already just about the prettiest family car available. As suggested, a refresh across the range in terms of spec and engines would probably be enough.

Unless they decide to 'reprofile for a different driver demographic', ie hit it with a chav stick for da yoof... ;)

I'd imagine any Facelift will be much like the GP, few small changes. New headlights, 2nd USB in the glove box, different spec etc.

Nothing like a major Facelift just to keep the car up to date and offer buyers something new as most will be looking at a used 12 month old car over a new one right now.

New dark-surround headlights like the Series 2 Grande Punto would be yummy! (y)

That wasnt a proper facelift as such. There are a few articles knocking around with more GPs that have external changes that are supposed to be Fiats proper facelift for the car in 2010. Peezy, the 2usbs have always been there on models that have blue and me as standard. One is for the dealer the other is for ipod/mp3.

Bravo has only 1 USB socket below the climate control, on B&M models. No socket in the glovebox like the GP.
