Hi guys,
Picked up my Bravo 1.9 Dynamic (120) multijet last week from the Fiat dealer. When I collected the car they hadn't serviced it, so I arranged for it to be serviced the week after (this week).
Now to my issue... with the car collected, I set off home and got on the motorway - I turned on the cruise control, then after about 5 minutes the car lurched for a split second and then that moment in every Fiat owners life - beeeep... "Check engine" and the engine warning light came on (it definately wasn't on when I'd set off)!
Obviously, I rang them back straight away... only to find it was 1 minute past 12 on a Saturday... and the service dept. door was still swinging on it's hinges... yes I've missed them
Has anyone else with a new model Bravo had this problem? Looks like the Cruise Control got it's knickers in a twist? I'll be taking it back to get the fault light reset and hopefully find out what the fault code will uncover (possibly)...
I wouldn't mind, but it was driving perfectly before I'd had it serviced - I had always thought that servicing "should" make things better
