Folks,

I'm new to the forum and to Fiats!

I'm thinking of buying a Bravo but I am a little concerned about the size of the rear passenger door windows. My 10 year old daughter (5ft tall) gets travel sick and she benefits from a light and airy atmosphere. Whats' it like on the backseats of a Bravo - is it light and airy, or is the view out of the windows restricted for her height?

Looking at the car, the rear windows appear to be quite small and she could just be peeking over the edge of the door but if the rear seat is relatively high it may not be a problem.

Thanks for your help.

Best to pop into a Dealer, I'm sure they would make you very welcome these days, they wont mind you trying everything out for size including a test drive! I wouldnt buy a car without. P.S. she could always use a booster cushion if you fall in love with a Fiat Bravo.... really nice cars. (y)

Hi and welcome!

The rear can look dark given the black seats and dark plastics, but the seats are reasonably high up being quite an upright position. The windows are small but I think that's just how car design will be going. Glass windows don't give much strength on side impact - big metal doors do!

Best advice is take her to a showroom and let her have a sit in the back. The Sport seats have been said to be more supporting than the Dynamic/Active so if she sinks into the seat it could be different in the sport.

Take her for a test drive - if she's sick in the back you might get the car on the cheap ;)

Thanks for the comments, to be honest I was hoping that some one would say it's realy airy at the back and don't be put off by the narrow windows. However I reckon I will have to drag her to the showroom and keep my fingers crossed that her stomach contents stay put (or at least until she gets in the demo car!).

BTW, I'm 6'0" and I have the seat right back normally. The Bravo is then a 3 seater!

I have my seat all the way back and just last week had 4 passengers in the car (including a very tall bloke behind me and a very very large lady in the middle.

It's not ideal but for the 25minute drive it was fine.

This is so not true :)

Not sure what you understand by "very tall". I am 194 cm (sorry, don't know how much is this in the strange metrics you guys use :D) and I definitely cannot put my knees behind the driver's seat, even if it's not all the way back.

I guess I can survive for 25 minutes with my knees under my chin, but the truth is, Bravo's rear space is considerably smaller than what the main rivals provide. It's even less then in the three-door Kia proceed (believe me on that, I measured it myself in one and the same day).

No doubt the rear leg room is smaller than others in its class and I personally would have liked more leg room and a smaller boot. I need to have the seat all the way back and the lad who sat behind me is as tall as me, if not a bit more taller.

We had a chuckle but in all fairness he said he'd had worse rides.

How oftren do you have you plus 4 other adults in the car for longer than 30 minutes?

Usually, my back seat passengers are these two (y) Rear leg room not a problem
