Hi, it is usefull, you can find all about your car (diagnose, wirring, etc.) Download and then iso file mount with Daemon Tool.

Code:

Ok I am no computer whizz or geek lol so what do I do with this ?

I have downloaded the files and also downloaded an application called WinRAR that Microsoft recommends to open this type of file? I have tried to open the 'part 1 file' but it 'extracts' but only seems to create another larger .rar file

What do I do now?

First, you should download both parts of the archive - part 1 and 2. They are about 100MB each. WinRAR is the best choice - just have the two files in the same directory, double click the part 1 file and drag the contents (1 file) out of the WinRAR window into your Windows explorer.

Once you extract the contents of the .rar file, you should end up with a single file, called BRAVO CD02.iso (you don't need the .rar files anymore). This is an "image" file and you can think of it as a "snapshot" of a CD. Now, you can either burn it to a CD, or mount it in a virtual CD drive. Since the second option needs a bit more explanation, you can try with burning it first.

It's pretty easy - in Nero, or whatever soft you use for burning discs, choose Burn Image (in Nero the option is located in the Recorder menu) and point to the location where the .iso file is located.

Downloaded both but when trying to extract, the first one goes ok but the second tries to overwrite it rather than add to it...what am I doing wrong? Overall file size of the extract files is about CD sized...

Just pack out first file - winrar will automatically join both archives to packout only ONE file - with .iso extension.

No need to pack out second file.

EDIT: And i hope You are not packing out ISO file??It ain't gonna work! You have to burn iso image or mount it as a virtual cd!

Got both files in my desktop - first file right click and choose extract to bravo198 - Winrar then does it's thing and I get a folder with a 637Mb file - will write it to disc and see what it does.

Thanks.

I've suceeded in downloading a copy. If anyone wants a cd made, just PM me. I haven't got the time to do thousands of free copies, but I'll do one copy free on the basis that you make your own copy and pass it on to the next guy. If you want multiple copies from me, a small donation to cover materials and stamps would be appreciated.

Most of us did succeed, and it's less than 200 MB after all...I don't really see the big issue here. Since we live in the Internet era and I am an IT guy (which means the idea of burning and shipping CDs almost insults me :D) I've put the thing on my personal web server...

Not sure what speed you'll get though, since I don't live in UK...And it will also depend on the number of leeches :D This is my home PC, so won't be always on...

Got it all working - interface isn't exactly cutting edge but I'm starting to understand it!

Looking at the bits and pieces, am I right in saying this gives all part numbers and components for each 'thing' on/in the car? So if I wanted to add electric windows to the back doors and/or the tyre pressure sensors, using this system I could find the part numbers (and diagrams) to be able to do it?

Forgot to say, I had to extract the .iso file into it's component files and then write them to a disc - this then worked right away.
