Does anyone know where I can find a wiring diagram for the stereo in the Bravo.

I've just recieved my Pioneer F900BT but some of the connections don't line up between the two ISO connectors. I've worked out what all the cables do on the Pioneer side of the connector via the manual.

I am stuck with the Bravo though. I need to know what each cable does (I.e Right rear speaker or Constant Live or Earth etc) so I can start swapping the cables around to make sure they all line up as they should.

The point of ISO connectors is that they are a standard, so all your speaker connectors should line up. Any connectors that don't line up are probably to facilitate functions that were not thought of when the standard was envisaged, such as info display on the main dash display. Also CANBUS, without which the standard stereo won't work.

So, I may be wrong but........ I doubt that "moving connections" is your answer. Others seem to have successfully fitted replacement stereos, presumably just by plugging in.

The Fiat stereo must have a high power constant live, so it can be switched on in 20 minute mode. It must also know whether the ignition is on, but the question is if this is by a low power switched live or CANBUS, I don't know.

The best way to check is with a meter, negative to the chassis and then search for live contacts with ignition off, then on.

Good luck,
Neil

Search and read the other thread from yesterday.

You'll see installing an aftermarket headunit in a Fiat is not as easy as you think. Typical of Fiat. There's no ignition switch so you need to create one.

Hi,

You need this cable adapter, it was in my stilo and the bravo needs the same:

The lower one. On the wires everything is marked:

This adapter cable cost about £5.
If U want, I can upload a picture of the connector layout.

I hope its help.

I didn't need any of those adapters.

All I needed was to create an ignition feed. The Bravo doesn't have one in the first place so all the adapters in the wrold won't majic one from nowhere.

All you need to do is create an Ignition feed and everything else works fine.

Jobs done anyway. I created an ignition feed and now the new headunit is working 100%
