as it says

went to a thing today and had to park just off a tarmac drive on grass that was rather saturated.

Cars were getting bogged down left right and centre after the event and there were tractors pulling out beemers and renaults and freelanders.

I was asked if i wanted help, declined at first, but she simply rolled backwards with little spin and got onto to tarmac, to the amazement of all the VW/bmw/audi/jag drivers around me (that were waiting for a tow as they burried them!)

I helped a few bogged down people who had 4x4s and no driving skills and knowledge of their cars.

First was an old ford maverick (not the nissan terrano II design) and i got it out, (with the help of pushers) but its clutch got a cooking. Horrible drive, horrible inside. Not an off roader, not a car.

second was an 07 range rover vogue and the guy had no idea about diff locking, high range low range or any off road technique. infact he wasof the opinion, its an off roader, flatten the pedal into the carpet. Soon got it out. nice to be inside one of these creatures and really easy to drive (once not in soggy muddy grass)

so like i said, all these people struggling, i simply walk up to mine, get in, cose door, start it, reverse carefully and drive off in seconds leaving bemused people all around me!
