Technical Front Grill Removal

to change the badge or just take off the front grills you have to take the front bumper, thats true guys. i read it on the fiat bravos elearn cd .

Guys, i have painted by grilles ( both top, lower and the fog lamp covers ).

I can tell you that i didnt remove my bumper, i took off all the covers in under 5 minutes!
This is what i did, i pulled off the lower grille then pulled off the upper grille. simple as that, just a little brute force and bobs your uncle they came out and once i finished painting them i simply pushed then back in.
I dont know where youre all coming from when you say you have to remove the whole bumper from the car because i certainly didnt. Ill try and post up some pictures.

i hope you are right because i have order 5 days ago abarth badges front and rear. and when i read the elearn bravo cd about the front grill i was like ----->:bang::bang::bang:

i did it in the summer, all i remember is pulling them straight out, they have some clips to hold them in place. theres a nut on the back of the badge, and clips for the chrome that goes around the grille. the hardest bit was getting the fog lamp covers off but with the lower grille out i pushed them out from behind. Try it, stick your fingers in the grilles and pull with both hands straight out towards you, you get to feel it when it better, if it doesnt budge then leave it just incase you break something then you blame me(y) I know i didnt remove my bumper:D

Mmm, Ive tried this, no movement, sounds like a break if I pull any harder...............

Now we've established they just pop out, are there any direct replacement ones on the market that look the nuts, like the honeycombe style ones? I'd like direct fit not faffing around...............

You could listen for where it is while her indoors presses the button. Might annoy the neighbours, so a quiet spot in the countryside might be the best place to get

Front grill removal is straight forward! - just pull! first the top and then the bottom part - fixing front badge is than easy....remove 8mm nut and replace it with new badge. Not sure why people first suggested that bumper removal is required just to change the front badge! - incorrect information.
