CD-changer

Anybody know how to install a cd-multichanger in a Bravo as I have one from my previous car. Is there already wiring in place to connect to somewhere like the boot?

Re: CD-changer

Dont think there would be a way, but i could be wrong!

But why would you want to? Just copy the CDs onto a 4Gb USb stick and you'll get far more albums on there than a multichanger could hold!

I am suspecting that he/she may not have the Blue & Me in the car so not be able to use the USB connection.

There is an Ipod connection available for those without the Blue & Me in their Bravo's (See the accessories booklet/PDF on the Fiat website) if you have an Ipod then maybe this would be a better option.

If not and you do have Blue & Me then as the guys suggested above, I'd be tempted to buy a USB stick and stick my albums on that. The price of these USB sticks is really low now.

Re: CD-changer

Yes I do have Blue&Me but I've only had the car 2 weeks and haven't got as far as reading the book as I don't have a Bluetooth phone - reading the radio booklet mader efernce to a cd-changer. Presumably then the USB stick (which I already have) plugs into the Windows Mobile socket on the dashboard and is then read by the radio?

Re: CD-changer

When I ordered my Bravo there was an option to go for cd-changer wiring - not the changer itself but wiring for it - it cost extra 80euro afair. In my opinion it's better to go for usb stick which i'm using for a good while in my Grande Punto.

It's very easy to operate but you can't fast forward or rewind any track...

Re: CD-changer

OK, so I've not got my USB memory stick with music on but it doesn't fit! Do I need an adaptor of some sort to link the two together?

Re: CD-changer

You plugging it in the right way around? Check your USB port isn't damaged.
