T-jet has better fule economy than Starjet ?

I can hardly believe. I make 34 mpg with my T-jet, but read on car test, the 16V Starjet engine makes only 27 mpg ? Is this data true ?

depends very much on how you drive I did a motorway run in a sport 150 and hit 39mpg. Depends how much you spin up the turbo
